SLOW LEARNER
A child can be described as a slow learner if his or her thinking skills develop at a notably slower rate than that of his or her peers. The child will carry on through the exact same developmental stages as his or her peers at a comparatively slow rate.

CHARACTERISTICS

They learnt to walk and talk, but they appeared to be slower and more delayed than normal children.

Having scholastic difficulties in kindergarten, but falling more behind each year

They may appear immature for their age when conversing since they have difficulty getting to the point.

They regularly utter "out of the blue" things that have nothing to do with the remainder of the conversation.

They study yet don't seem to remember what they learn
