HEALTHCARE SERVICES FOR CHILDREN WITH SPECIAL NEEDS (CWSN) Health services for children with special needs (CWSN) include all services provided to any child who visit the government health facilities, such as growth and developmental screening, assessment of nutritional status and immunization. Growth and developmental assessment of children in all government health clinics and district clinics are conducted by the nurses. It is done as early as possible after birth to detect any delay in child development and to identify the risk of disability.
